Q: Can I request an early check in?

A: While our guaranteed check in time is 4:00 PM, we will make every effort to accommodate requests for an early check in. Please speak with the Front Desk upon your arrival to the hotel.

Q: Can I request a late check out?
A: Check out time at Grand Hyatt San Diego is 11:00 AM. While we cannot guarantee a late check out, you are welcome to check with a Front Desk agent on your departure day and we will try our best to accommodate the request.

Q: How much does parking cost?
A: We are pleased to offer convenient parking in the heart of downtown San Diego to our hotel guests and visitors. Our overnight parking options include unlimited in and out privileges and are priced at the following:

First Hour: $10
After the first hour $8 per hour
Daily Maximum: $55


Overnight Guest: $35

After the first hour $8 each additional hour

Our San Diego parking garage is attached to the hotel and has 1,160 spaces.

Q: Is there a charge to use the Internet?
A: No. Simply connect to @Hyatt_WiFi from your guestroom or any public area of the hotel forcomplimentary access to high speed wireless Internet.

Q: Can I request a room with a view?
A: Grand Club rooms, Premium view rooms, corner kings and high floors can be reserved ahead of your stay online or over the phone. Please check our Rooms page for details or contact reservations at 1-800-633-7313.

Q: Is breakfast included in my room rate?
A: Breakfast is not included in standard room rates, however we do offer a Bed & Breakfast package that includes breakfast for two daily in Seaview and a guaranteed late checkout at 2:00 PM.

Our Grand breakfast buffet is offered daily in Seaview Breakfast Buffet Restaurant starting at 6:30 AM.

Guests who upgrade their accomodations to include Grand Club access will enjoy complimentary breakfast in the private Grand Club lounge, a sampling of snacks throughout the day and evening hors d'ouevres.

Q: What is the easiest way to get to and from the airport?
A: There are numerous options for traveling in between Grand Hyatt San Diego and San Diego Airport. Taxi or Uber service is available for an approximate cost of $10 - $20 each way or shared airport shuttles that make multiple stops run frequently for an approximate cost of $8 per person and must be booked 24 hours in advance. 

Q: Where can I rent a car?
A: Travel around San Diego with ease by taking advantage of our very own on-site Hertz Car Rental service. Our agents are located conveniently in the Lobby. Call (619) 358-6881 for more information.

Q: How can I contact Lost and Found?

A: Please call (619) 358-4580 to speak with someone regarding any lost or found items. 

Q: How can I contact Guest Packaging to speak to someone about shipping my packages to the hotel?

A: Handling fees apply to all packages shipped to the hotel. Please dial the hotel operator at 619-232-1234 with any questions you may have and inquire about the rules and policies associated with shipping packages to the hotel.

Q: Can I ship my packages from the hotel?

A: FedEx Office Business Center Convention & Meeting Services is onsite - Lobby Level, Harbor Tower. Open daily 7AM - 7PM. Please dial (619) 232-1234 to be directed to this office.

Q: Do you have tennis courts? Is there a charge to rent equipment?

A: Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego features two hard courts that are complimentary to use. The fee to rent tennis racquets and balls is $25 per day. Lessons are available and can be arranged through the Marilyn Monroe Spa. Find more info on booking private lessons with our tennis pro here.

Q: Where is Top of the Hyatt located?

A: The Top of the Hyatt Sky Lounge is located on the 40th floor of the Harbor Tower. The lounge does not take reservations and is sometimes closed for private parties; be sure to check for closure dates before your arrival. Children are welcome in Top of the Hyatt before 8pm with an accompanying adult. 21 and up only after 8pm. View the menu for this must-see San Diego destination.

Q: Is there a Gift Shop inside the hotel?

A: Yes. The Grand Gift Shop is located on the Lobby Level of the Harbor Tower. Our gift shop carries everything from toothbrushes and dress ties to sunglasses and souvenirs, like T-shirts and postcards.

Q: Is there a coffee shop inside the hotel?

A: Yes. Stop by the 24-hour MARKET | ONE on your way out for a piping hot cup of coffee or a pick me up expresso drink. You’ll also find a variety of grab n’ go options, snacks and freshly made salads to get you through the day.

Q: Can I have a rollaway in my guestroom?

Yes, rollaway beds are available for $20 per night and can only be placed in a King bedded guestroom or Suite. 

Q: Do you offer newspapers for hotel guests?

Yes! We are pleased to offer paperless complimentary access to the New York Times and Financial Times during your stay. Simply log onto the hotel's complimentary WiFi and visit to enjoy unlimited access while helping to preserve the earth's resources.
